Recently brother purchased a new office. 80% of the amount was paid by him and the remaining needed to be arranged through a loan. Which meant the property would be kept as a mortgage with the bank.

When brother approached the bank for the loan, they advised him not to take a loan for this amount on the new property. Instead consider a top up loan on his current housing loan. This would mean the new property is loan free and the rate of interest is less compared to a commercial loan.
